Gratitude Journal Making with Lisa Wigham. You can download the PDF which accompanies the video below.
In this workshop Lisa Wigham shows you how to create your own book using recycled materials. She will teach you how to create and bind a basic book through simple instructions and inspire you to not only gratitude journal but to create the journal itself.
This mindful creative task is suitable for beginners and doens’t require any fancy materials – in fact we would encourage you to recycle materials and in our live sessions participants used packing materials, old wrapping paper and cereal boxes.
You can follow the video workshop above and/ or download the PDF worksheet which accompanies the video.
We would also love you to send us pictures of your journals to form part of our online exhibition. Please send to admin@theyeatculture or tag us on social media @TheyEatCulture .
About Lisa Wigham
Lisa Wigham runs her own book printing company The Two a.m. press. She started The Two a.m. Press to make books and prints as portable works of art with democratic intent.
She explores objects and processes to invite questions about the charge of ideologies engrained in materials and technology. Lisa runs workshops as an exchange of skills and ideas. Exhibitions and public art works pose questions about the history, culture and expectations of the environments they inhabit.
This workshop was originally delivered live as part of our The Living city workshops series during lockdown. Lisa has recorded this video so anyone can do the workshop from home.
