Q&A with retiree Marie
What have you been up to during lockdown?
I have been sewing, reading, knitting, phoning and texting. My son has done my weekly shopping. My eldest daughter goes to the post office and gets my prescription. My youngest daughter also visits to see if I want anything else. I am so grateful for everything my children, son in law, daughter in law and grandchildren have done for me. Two very special families who live in my area have made hot meals for me every day for two months. I am overwhelmed by their kindness.
What are your plans for Life After Lockdown?
I haven’t been in a shop for over ten weeks, so in two weeks I am going SHOPPING that is the plan.
The ‘Life After Lockdown’ Photographic Project
The Life After Lockdown photographic project was started in June 2020, following the British government’s move towards easing the lockdown measures put in place to combat the COVID-19 pandemic. Lisa Brown, a photographer and writer living and working in Preston, wanted to find out how local people had spent their time during lockdown and what plans they had for ‘Life After Lockdown’.
