Freya: Body Image in Lockdown

In our series of interviews with Prestonians we spoke to Freya, age 15, about her experience of lockdown and the impact lockdown has had on her. Each video is a part of a longer interview yet alone each shares its own significance.

In this part of the interview Freya reflects on the pressures of lockdown from missing out on birthday celebrations to breaking free from the expectations she felt to change her body during lockdown.

She discusses how lockdown has helped her realise things about herself and become a better person.
