We interviewed Karen as part of our Preston Voices series and she agreed to take part in the Artist Response photo series by our lead commissioned artist Luke Richards. Here’s what Luke said about this photograph.

“Her familiar and happy place is Formby where she loves the expanse of sand and the dunes which she finds allow her to think clearly. The final image depicts her as the happy person she is and the dunes and sand form the image around her.”
