Free Online Workshops

Take one hour for your mental health

We have created a series of free online workshops for Creative Well-Being Week in October 2021. These are all still accessible below.

We want to provide you with activities to aid you creative wellbeing, open up conversations about creativity and wellbeing and encourage people to make links between their mental health and creativity.

Being creative has been proven to relieve stress and reduce anxiety. Think back to activities we might have done as children which were therapeutic and creative – maybe it was drawing or writing a story, or perhaps it was cutting up magazines. We want you to reawakan that creativity to aid your mental health.

We have sessions in writing, doodling, book making, photography and collage all lead by artist experts. They are all suitable for beginners and those with a bit of experience and can be done through a downloadable PDF and a video workshop too.

These can be done by individuals, families and/ or community groups.

Online Workshop: Wild Writing with Louise Fazackerly
Wild Writing is a Creative Writing workshop by Louise Fazackerly. In this workshop poet and writer Louise Fazackerley presents a series of writing activities suitable for new writers and experienced writers.
The prompts take away the fear of writing on a blank page and invite you to approach writing in different ways.
Writing can have positive impacts on our wellbeing – it can allow us to take a little time for ourselves, process our experiences and reflect on our past, present and future.
