In our series of interviews with the people from Preston we spoke to Hema about her experience of lockdown and it’s impact on her. Each video is a part of a longer interview yet alone each shares its own significance.

In this video Hema talks about how materialistic our society has become and how the desire to buy a fancy car or a luxury holiday drives our work ethic.

She reflects on how the pandemic has highlighted that this isn’t important and discusses how her family found a different way to live when she was younger.

She also talks about when she one day becomes a grandmother giving up her job to care for them because those family values are so important to her.
